"That is, until a physicist name Edward Witten developed a theory, called M-theory, which described a way that all explanations were actually correct, but looking at the problem from different perspectives, much like looking at an object from different positions.
The theory, called M-theory, required as many as 11 different dimensions. The extra dimensions would be wrapped up in very tiny packages, called a quintic Calabi-Yau manifold . Basically, you could observe them if you able to look well beyond a sub-atomic level."
